How Parents Can Support Their Student During the Test Prep Journey

I'm still buzzing from the annual National Test Prep Association (NTPA) Conference I attended last week in Philadelphia. ~100 educators from around the country came together to share best practices in the pursuit of higher scores for our students.

I'll be sharing many lessons learned from that conference over the next several months, but today I want to highlight some great resources from fellow group members.

The NTPA Is Inside Higher Ed

Inside Higher Ed is one of the most well-respected educational media outlets in the country.

NTPA member David Blobaum discusses why 98% of students who applied to Yale without test scores were denied admission.

How to Prep Before You Really Prep

NTPA founding board member Mike Bergin explains why building foundations in reading and math can give younger students a head start in test prep.

How Parents Can Support Their Student During the Test Prep Journey

TikTok and test prep queen Jackie Pollina recommends planning for multiple retakes, creating a post test ritual, and more.

Maximizing the Efficiency of Your Student’s Studying

NTPA founding member Brian Eufinger shares a formula box for your student's phone lock screen. Just a few days and they'll have them memorized!

Why I Love the NTPA

The above is just a taste of the knowledge this group of 245 educators has to offer. I'm honored to be a member and to continue improving my practice so, most importantly, your student's scores will continue to rise.
